Franklin County man charged with exploitation of minor
Franklin County deputies have arrested a Zebulon man and charged him with 15 counts of third-degree exploitation of a minor.

ZEBULON, N.C. — Franklin County deputies have arrested a Zebulon man and charged him with 15 counts of third-degree exploitation of a minor.
Tiburcio Marcial Pineda was arrested on Jan. 16. Charges stemmed from an extensive Investigation conducted by Franklin County Sheriff’s Office Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force and the North Carolina State Bureau of Investigations Computer Crimes Unit, officials said.
A search warrant was executed at Pineda's home and he was later taken into custody.
Pineda, 36, was being held at the Franklin County Detention Center under a $250,000 secured bond.
