SHINee promoted Taemin's video in a post on its official Twitter account Monday.

"TAEMIN 'WANT' MV #TAEMIN #SHINee #WANT #TAEMtation," the tweet reads.

SHINee's agency, SM Entertainment, described "Want" as an up-tempo dance song inspired by the "space disco" genre. The lyrics describe a person falling for a man with sensuality and innocence.

Taemin last released his debut Japanese solo album, Taemin, in November. His second Korean studio album, Move, was re-released as Move-ing in December 2017.

Taemin came to fame with the South Korean boy band SHINee, which also consists of three other members, Onew, Key and Minho. News broke in January that Key and Mino will enlist in the military in the spring.
