* A son, Brady Nicholas Tracht, was born at 4:54 a.m. Nov. 5, 2014, to David and Erin Tracht, of Westminster. He weighed 8 pounds, 1 ounce. Grandparents are Mike and Edie Laur, of Westminster; Nick Tracht, of Berkeley Springs, West Virginia; and the late Constance Tracht.
* A daughter, Kara Mae Harris, was born at 9:02 a.m. Nov. 7, 2014, to Michael and Loni Harris, of Sykesville. He weighed 7 pounds, 4 ounces. Grandparents are Larry and Teresa Bowman, of Fairdale, West Virginia; Timmy and Jane Pettry, of Fairdale; and Eddie Harris, of Crab Orchard, West Virginia.
* A daughter, Ava Dahl Werner, was born at 11:27 p.m. Nov. 7, 2014, en route to the hospital, to Sara Sipes and Joshua Werner, of Manchester. She weighed 6 pounds, 14 ounces.
* A son, Gabriel Edward Dietz, was born at 9:01 a.m. Nov. 13, 2014, to Edward and Veronica Dietz, of Westminster. He weighed 8 pounds, 7 ounces. Grandparents are Raul and Rosalind Esteves, of Westminster.
* A son, Matthew Edward Osgood, was born at 7:17 p.m. Nov. 17, 2014, to Amanda and Charles Osgood. He weighed 7 pounds, 11 ounces. Grandparents are Diane and Donnie Osgood, of Sykesville; and Eileen Schmidt, of Woodbine.
* A son, Antonio Javier Malvaez, was born at 8:02 a.m. Nov. 19, 2014, to Victoria Johnson and Guillermo Malvaez Carbajal, of Westminster. He weighed 7 pounds, 4 ounces. Grandparents are Donna Johnson, of Westminster; Santiago Malvaez Tapia and Candelaria Carbajal Sanchez, of Toluca, Mexico.
* A daughter, Alexis Gray Pearce, was born at 9:09 p.m. Nov. 19, 2014, to Chris and Jill Pearce, of Westminster. She weighed 7 pounds, 9 ounces. Grandparents are Gary and Beth Sergott, of Westminster; David and Carol Haug, of Hampstead; and Chris and Diana Pearce, of Taneytown.
News of births at Carroll Hospital Center is published as it is received from the hospital. Please allow at least two weeks after your child’s birth for its publication. News of births outside Carroll County can be sent to the Carroll County Times, 115 Airport Drive, Suite 170, Westminster, MD 21157 or emailed to cctnews@carrollcountytimes.com. Information must reach this office within four weeks after the birth and contain an immediate Carroll County connection. The release must include the exact date of the birth and a name and daytime telephone number of a parent. We will publish the name, date, time, place of birth, parents’ and grandparents’ names and residences and child’s weight in the announcement.
