No New Coronavirus Deaths In Southwestern PA

Here are the latest coronavirus case numbers for Allegheny County and southwestern Pennsylvania.

PITTSBURGH, PA — There were no new coronavirus deaths in Allegheny County Wednesday, the county health department announced Thursday. The death toll in the county during the outbreak remains at 151,

The number of coronavirus cases climbed to 1,851, up from 1,828 on Wednesday and 1,816 on Tuesday.

Three hundred and thirty-one people people have been hospitalized in the county during the outbreak, up from 324 on Wednesday and 319 on Tuesday.

With 570 confirmed cases in Beaver County, 442 in Westmoreland County, 220 in Butler County and 138 in Washington County, that brings the total number of cases in the five-county
southwestern Pennsylvania region to 3,221. That's up from 3,198 on Wednesday and 3,183 on Tuesday.

According to the state Department of Health, 278 people have died thus far in the five-county region: One hundred and fifty-one in Allegheny County, 72 in Beaver County, 38 in Westmoreland County, 12 in Butler County and five in Washington County. That number remains unchanged from Wednesday.
