Terry Lee Taylor, 76, of Williamsport, MD, passed away on Saturday, July 4, 2020, at Meritus Medical Center in Hagerstown, MD.Born December 15, 1943 in Hagerstown, he was the son of the late Dale Edward and Doris Emma French Taylor.He was a 1961 graduate of Williamsport High School.Terry worked 42 years at Mack Trucks in Hagerstown, until retiring in 2007.He was a member of the UAW Local 171 in Hagerstown.He was of the Protestant faith.He loved woodworking and making furniture, clocks and musical instruments.He was a loving husband, father and grandfather.Terry is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Nancy E. Turner Taylor, whom he married June 30, 1963; his loving daughters, Jill Baker and her husband, Wayne Jr., of Williamsport, and Brenda Taylor-Bond and her husband, Kenneth, of Melbourne, FL; and his loving grandchildren, Haley Baker and her boyfriend, Ephraim Loeser, Courtney Clopper and her husband, Matt, Kelly Bond and Harley Bond. He is also survived by a sister, Cindy Helman and her husband, Donnie, of Cumberland, MD; a brother, Allen Taylor and his wife, Erma, of Hagerstown; and several nieces and nephews.The family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 8, 2020, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Osborne Funeral Home, 425 S. Conococheague St., Williamsport. For the convenience of family and friends, the funeral home will open Wednesday at 9 a.m.Graveside services will be held on Thursday, July 9, 2020, at 1 p.m. at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Williamsport, with Pastor Kevin Smoot officiating.Online condolences may be made at www.osbornefuneralhome.net.
