Sesame Street Live! is coming to Utah in 2020

(KUTV) — Sesame Street Live is coming to your neighborhood.

The iconic characters, such as Elmo, Cookie Monster, and more, will perform two times for two consecutive nights at the Vivint Smart Home Arena on Saturday, Jan. 11, 2020 and Sunday, Jan. 12, 2020, according to a press release.

During the show, Elmo is inspired to learn a magic trick when me meets magician extraordinaire Justin, who has come to Sesame Street to perform a magic show. With Justin's help Elmo learns magic as his friends learn other valuable skills and information.

"With high-energy dance numbers and a soundtrack that’s sure to get everyone out of their seats, Sesame Street Live! Make Your Magic is an inspirational introduction to live theater and the art of illusion that the entire family will enjoy," a press release stated.

During the pre-show experience, families will be able to meet and take photos with Elmo and two of his furry friends, tour the on-stage neighborhood with special visits from Elmo and his friends for photos, participate in a scavenger hunt and receive a special prize.

Tickets go on sale Friday, June 21 at 10 a.m.
