HE AND 24-YEAR-OLD BAILEY BOSWELL EACH FACE CHARGES OF FIRST DEGREE MURDER. AND IMPROPER DISPOSING OF A BODY. NEW DOCUMENTS UNSEALED BY THE JUDGE INDICATE TRAIL TOLD INVESTIGATORS HE STRANGLED LOOFE WITH AN EXTENSION CORD, AND SAID BOSWELL INSISTED ON CLEANING UP THE CRIME SCENE AND DISPOSING OF LOOFE’S BODY. HERES A TIMELINE NOVEMBER 15 , BEFORE BOSWELL ALLEGEDLY WENT 2017. ON A DATE WITH LOOFE ARRANGED THROUGH TINDER. SURVEILLANCE VIDEO AT THIS LINCOLN HOME DEPOT SHOWS TRAIL AND BOSWELL BUYING SUPPLIES BELIEVED TO HAVE BEEN USED IN THE KILLING AND DISPOSAL. THE PURCHASE HAPPENED WHEN LOOFE WAS STILL ALIVE, BEFORE WORKING WHAT WOULD BE HER LAST SHIFT AT MENARDS DOWN THE STREET. LOOFE’S LAST CELL COMMUNICATION WAS TRACKED TO A TOWER NEAR WILBER WHERE BOSWELL AND TRAIL RENTED A BASEMENT APARTMENT. NOVEMBER 19, POLICE SEARCHED THE LOCATION, A LANDLORD SMELLED BLEACH, OFFICERS REPORTED IT APPEARED THE WALLS HAD BEEN WASHED. WEEKS LATER ON DECEMBER 4, SEARCH CREWS LOCATED THE 24-YEAR-OLD’S REMAINS. HER BODY DISMEMBERED, STUFFED IN TRASH BAGS DUMPED IN RURAL CLAY COUNTY. THE CELL PHONE BOSWELL USED TO ACCESS HER TINDER ACCOUNT ALSO LINKED TO THAT SAME AREA ON NOVEMBER 16, THE SAME DAY LOOFE WAS REPORTED MISSING. Court papers indicate Sydney Loofe died from strangulation

Court documents released Tuesday offered an account of the last days of Sydney Loofe's life and her premeditated and grisly death.Aubrey Trail and Bailey Boswell are both charged with first-degree murder, and both were ordered held without bond during a hearing in Saline County on Tuesday morning.According to investigators, security camera video from a Lincoln Home Depot showed Trail and Boswell purchasing tools that they later used to dismember Loofe, 24, hours before Loofe was last seen leaving her job at a Menards in North Lincoln on Nov. 15, 2017.Loofe went on a date that night with Boswell, after meeting her on the dating app Tinder. Court documents indicate Trail told an FBI special agent he strangled Loofe with an extension cord.A search warrant served on Boswell's apartment in Wilber, Nebraska, showed indications that the walls had been "wiped down in an effort to clean them," according to court documents.
