Court documents released Tuesday offered an account of the last days of Sydney Loofe's life and her premeditated and grisly death.
Aubrey Trail and Bailey Boswell are both charged with first-degree murder, and both were ordered held without bond during a hearing in Saline County on Tuesday morning.
According to investigators, security camera video from a Lincoln Home Depot showed Trail and Boswell purchasing tools that they later used to dismember Loofe, 24, hours before Loofe was last seen leaving her job at a Menards in North Lincoln on Nov. 15, 2017.
Loofe went on a date that night with Boswell, after meeting her on the dating app Tinder.
Court documents indicate Trail told an FBI special agent he strangled Loofe with an extension cord.
A search warrant served on Boswell's apartment in Wilber, Nebraska, showed indications that the walls had been "wiped down in an effort to clean them," according to court documents. The landlord, who lived upstairs, reported a strong smell of bleach on Nov. 16 and 17.
Investigators said Loofe's remains were found in several garbage bags east of Clay Center, Nebraska, three weeks after her disappearance.

Charges were filed Monday in Saline County Court in the death of Sydney Loofe, according to the Nebraska attorney general.
Aubrey Trail and Bailey Boswell have been charged with first-degree murder and improper disposal of human skeletal remains.
Loofe was reported missing in November. Her body was located in December.
Trail and Boswell published a video -- which has since been deleted -- on Facebook in November. The two said they had been “slammed and crucified” by news outlets in the days since Loofe was reported missing.
Boswell detailed her relationship with Loofe, which, according to Boswell, consisted primarily of smoking marijuana. “I have warrants,” Boswell said.
After driving Loofe around, Boswell said she dropped her off at a friend’s house. “I haven’t heard from her since,” she said. “I want the family to know that I’m truly sorry. I didn’t have anything to do with this. I hope that Sydney is found very soon.”
