Nipsey Hussle's girlfriend posts photo of the late rapper for the release of his PUMA x TMC collaboration that was in the works at the time of his death
He was gunned down at the age of 33 earlier this year, but one of the projects he was working on is finally seeing the light of day.
Sportswear brand Puma released the collection PUMA x TMC on Thursday, which was a collaboration with Grammy Award-nominated rapper Nipsey Hussle and his Los Angeles, California clothing store The Marathon Clothing.
Actress Lauren London, who was the artist's girlfriend and mother to his three-year-old son Kross, posted a photo of the fallen rapper decked out in Puma to mark the occasion, captioning it, 'He was really excited about this collection. Nip Hussle The Legend PumaxTMC'

The brand itself also took to Instagram to herald the release of the collab, posting another photo with Nipsey in the same black and red outfit.
Puma's caption read, 'Nipsey Hussle was a visionary who always put his community first.'
'100% of the net proceeds from this collection, which was designed in partnership with him, will go to the Neighborhood “Nip” Foundation. We know he wouldn’t want it any other way.
'#TheMarathonContinues Note: the collection is almost sold out,' the caption concluded.

Hussle's own Instagram account also posted ahead of the release, sharing an image of the rapper's own hands on a piece of clothing.
That heartfelt caption read, 'Nipsey spearheaded this project from concept to final product over the course of last year, flying to meetings, reviewing samples, bringing in material references he liked, and most importantly ensuring that it reflected his style authentically with no compromise.'
'His signature style and DNA can be found in each garment that’s part of this collection,' the caption later said.

'This project is very special to our team and we’re handling it with the utmost care to ensure it’s delivered exactly as Nipsey envisioned it.'
'It’s a privilege for us to honor his commitment and carry out this project for people to receive a personally curated collection by Nip Hussle Tha Great,' the note concluded.
The account for the rapper's shop in South Los Angeles, the Marathon Clothing, also posted several images of the late performer in a series of countdown posts leading to the collection's release.
The collection includes sneakers, track jackets, khaki pants, sock, t-shirts and more.
Nipsey Hussle was shot to death outside of his store on March 31st of this year by Eric Holder, 29, reportedly motivated by a personal matter.
