Manchester United will play Tottenham in pre-season after announcing three more friendly matches in preparation for the 2019/20 season.

United are set for a short pre-season tour in Asia, visiting China and Singapore, following time in Australia.

After taking on Perth Glory and Leeds in Perth, United will make their way to Singapore to take on Inter, before travelling to Shanghai five days later to face Spurs.

Their final pre-season friendly, as things stand, is against AC Milan in Cardiff on July 30.

Executive Vice Chairman Ed Woodward emphasised the club’s commitment to their global fanbase.

“These games, and the tour overall, will not only assist in our pre-season preparations, but also provide entertaining football and an opportunity to interact with our loyal fans in Australasia and Asia,” Woodward said.

“This will be our third visit to Singapore and our fifteenth pre-season visit to China and we’re excited to be returning to both countries to play against top-class opposition there.”

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is likely to still be in charge for those games, after impressing as interim manager.
