Peaky Blinders has been on our screens since 2013 - and some of its most iconic stars have gone on to achieve worldwide fame (with some very famous at the onset of the show).

But others have been catapulted to fame as a result of their roles in Peaky Blinders - and some have gone on to larger things, like Anya Taylor Joy.

Cillian Murphy, Tom Hardy and Helen McCrory are three of the most iconic stars of the smash hit Birmingham based BBC gang drama.

But others are less well known - with some bidding adieu to the show and moving on to pastures new, with a constant turnover of characters.

Some, like Joe Cole, got explosive exits, while others left after merely one season. Some worldwide stars had bit part roles, like Josh O'Connor.

Perhaps no surprise, but the Irish actor is still a key part of Peaky Blinders, with his character Tommy Shelby becoming the glue of the entire show.
