Netflix are set to release a Wednesday Addams live-action show, directed by Tim Burton in his TV directorial debut for an entire series.
The Addams Family spin-off will be an eight-episode coming-of-age comedy series about Morticia and Gomez's eerie offspring Wednesday, who has previously been depicted by Christina Ricci and most recently voiced by Chloe Grace Moretz.
The show, called Wednesday, centres around the Nevermore Academy student - who masters her psychic powers and 'solves a supernatural mystery which embroiled her parents 25 years ago' - according to Deadline.

Netflix honcho Teddy Biaselli spoke of writers Al Gough and Miles Millar's pitch in a statement, saying: 'When we first heard the pitch for Wednesday we were struck, like an arrow from a crossbow, right in our hearts.
'They nailed the tone, spirit and characters, but gave us a fresh way into this story...
'Tim has had a history of telling empowering stories about social outsiders like Edward Scissorhands, Lydia Deitz and Batman. And now he brings his unique vision to Wednesday and her spooky classmates at Nevermore Academy.'
