2 Years for Tholi Prema: Venky Atluri reminisces about his debut film

Director Venky Atluri's debut film Tholi Prema has completed two years today. Tholi Prema is the story of an outgoing rich kid, Aditya who falls in love with an introvert Varsha. Though Varsha has feelings for him, she is reluctant to profess them. They both parted their ways during their studies and met again after a few years.
Varun Tej Konidela played the role of rich kid Aditya Sekhar, and actress Rashi Khanna essayed the role of Varsha.While Suhasini Maniratnam portrayed the Aditya's mother, Priyadarshi Pullikonda, Apoorva Srinivasan, Vidyullekha Raman, Hyper Aadhi and Satyam Rajesh played his friends.
Director Venky Atluri reminisced about Tholi Prema and thanked the team for their support. He wrote, "My journey began with #TholiPrema and couldn't have asked for a better start. Tholi Prema has been nominated for South Indian International Movie Awards in three categories, and has won three Zee Cine Awards (Telugu), Favorite Debut Director, Entertainer of the Year – Female and Favorite Music Director. Needless to say that Varun Tej and Raashi Khanna's unmatched chemistry became the key highlight of the movie with moving performances by the leading actors.
Venky Atluri was an actor, who was appeared on the big screen with 2010 film Sneha Geetham. He made his silver screen debut with made quite an impressive directorial debut with the Varun Tej starrer Tholi Prema which turned out to be a super hit. However, the director has completed about a decade in the Telugu film industry.
