Anniversaries: Winston Carlson & Lucille Carlson

On April 28, Winston and Lucille Carlson will celebrate their platinum (70th) wedding anniversary. They met in Deer Park, Wisconsin, and were married in Pine City, Minnesota in 1951. Winston and Lucille had two children, whom they raised in Barron, Wisconsin where they owned a trucking business and a western store. They moved to Oregon in 1981, living briefly in Salem before moving to Bend for several years. They moved back to Salem where their son was living so they could be closer to their grandchildren. In Salem, they were involved in the RV transportation business for over twenty years. They were lucky to live close to their daughter, son and grandchildren. They have five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren who love them dearly. Winston and Lucille will celebrate this incredible milestone with their immediate family.
