A New Hampshire man is facing charges, accused of damaging at least five vehicles in two crashes in two towns.
Jonathan Markow, 29, of Hampton, was arrested Friday evening on Walkers Brook Drive in Reading. Police said Markow hit two cars while driving under the influence. Before the crash in Reading, police said Markow crashed into two vehicles in Wakefield.
Five people, including Markow, were taken to a hospital. None are considered to have life-threatening injuries, police said.
Markow is in custody at the hospital and will likely be arraigned on Monday, Dec. 1. He is charged with operating under the influence of alcohol and operating to endanger.
Police in Reading and Wakefield are investigating the crashes.
