Tonight's Forecast:
Periods of snow will fall across parts of Southern Colorado this evening, with the main focus across the Pikes Peak Region. As the snowfall picks up in intensity later tonight, snow will start to accumulate, with anywhere between 1-3" possible through Tuesday morning.

With the threat for snow through Tuesday, a Winter Weather Advisory has been issued for the Pikes Peak Region, Pueblo County, Fremont County and parts of Huerfano County. The advisory will last through Tuesday evening, and brings the potential for some decent snows to the region.

COLORADO SPRINGS: Low: 16; High: 23. Cold and snowy on Tuesday, with most of the snow expected to fall during the morning hours. Lingering snow showers will be possible through the afternoon before the storm comes to an end Tuesday night. Additional snowfall totals from 2-5".

PUEBLO: Low: 18; High: 25. Snow in the morning, turning to scattered snow showers in the afternoon. This next storm will bring the potential for an additional 2-4" of snow to Pueblo and Pueblo West.

CANON CITY: Low: 21; High: 26. Tuesday's forecast will be a cold and snowy one. The heaviest snow bands are expected to move into Fremont County between 5 am and 11 am, with scattered snow showers possible after that. Additional snowfall totals from 3-5".

WOODLAND PARK: Low: 11; High: 22. A wintry weather forecast will continue across Teller County on Tuesday, with the heaviest snow expected during the morning hours. Additional snowfall totals from 2-5".

TRI-LAKES: Low: 10s; High: 20s. Part two of this two-part storm will bring periods of snow to northern El Paso County tonight and much of Tuesday. Snow will be heaviest in the morning, but the snow potential lingers all day. Additional snowfall totals from 2-4".

PLAINS: Low: 10s; High: 20s. A chance for light snow tonight across the Plains, with more snow on the way Tuesday. The snow should let up by Tuesday evening as the storm moves away. Additional snowfall totals from 1-3".

WALSENBURG/TRINIDAD: Low: 10s; High: 20s. Overnight snow showers should be fairly light, with a better potential for heavier snow heading into Tuesday morning. Additional snowfall totals from 2-5".

MOUNTAINS: Low: -0s/0s; High: 0s/10s. Snow is likely tonight across the mountains of Southern Colorado, with periods of snow expected through Tuesday evening. Additional snowfall from 3-7".

Extended Outlook:
Behind Tuesday's storm, we'll see some very cold temperatures Wednesday morning. Highs will recover nicely by the afternoon, topping out in the 30s and 40s. High pressure will move back into Southern Colorado this week, with highs climbing each afternoon through Friday. By Friday, look for afternoon highs to warm into the 50s and very low 60s.
