The next Meet Us in the Garden presentation by the Lake County Master Gardeners will take place at 10 a.m., Oct. 2.
“Trees and Shrubs in the Home Landscape — Choosing, Planting and Maintenance” will look at practices to maximize plant vigor and aesthetics, according to a news release. Emphasis will be on care for newly planted and youthful trees. For flowering shrubs, the timing/extent of pruning for bloom maximization and/or rejuvenation will be covered.
