The state Department of Health website shows 328 more cases of coronavirus statewide around midday Monday than it did late Sunday, bringing the total to 95,742.
But that overall figure marks a statewide increase of 476 over the past 24 hours.
At midday Sunday, the statewide total was 95,266. Later Sunday, the department added 148 confirmed cases from Philadelphia to make the state total 95,414.
The total for Philadelphia did not change on Monday by midday. A department spokeswoman said there was a “weekend lag” of reporting and more Philadelphia cases would be added Tuesday.
Philadelphia has the most cases of all 67 counties. Its state-leading case total is 22,987.
In the Lehigh Valley, the state added 10 cases to its total. Nine were in Lehigh County, which now has 4,439 cases, and one was added in Northampton, which now has 3,555.
Hospitalizations increased slightly to reach the highest figure in 18 days.
The state data dashboard shows that 682 were hospitalized across the state for the virus at noon, the highest figure since 702 were hospitalized around midday on June 25.
