For the second time in three days a car has run into a house. This time it occurred at 415 Glenwood Drive shortly before 8 a.m. on Wednesday. Captain Joey Smith with Engine 5 said all of the occupants in the car, two adults and two children, were out of the vehicle when his crew arrived on the scene.

The damage to the house appeared to be minimal, but the impact injured three of the car’s occupants. Captain Smith said the two adults had head and ankle injuries and were transported by Hamilton County EMS to Erlanger Medical Center. The child reportedly had a head injury and was transported to Children’s Hospital at Erlanger. The cause of the accident is being investigated by the Chattanooga Police Department.

On Monday, a car ran into a house at 1506 Ely Road. No one was injured in that accident.
