Authorities locate northeastern Kentucky girl after leaving with dog

Authorities in northeastern Kentucky have located a teen girl who was missing for hours with her dog.

Greenup County E-911 says Katelynn Calhoun, 14, was found a few hours after leaving her home on Route 1 near Argillite Elementary School late Monday morning.

Authorities were concerned, as Calhoun has a mild form of autism.

Emergency managers thanked the public for sharing the alert.
