In the world of classic cars, there are two main directions to go: either maintain the car and keep it pristine, or else completely customize it. This one chose the latter, as this 1934 Chevy has been fully converted into a monster of a rat rod build. Rat Rods like this focus on ridiculousness and personality, as well as performance. This fully customized car takes creativity to a new level, and looks ready to face the apocalypse and every challenge ahead of it.

The Rat Rod Build Is Made For Power

According to the company raffling off the car, the build is made from a '76 blazer frame and axles, 410 gears with poss running 37x14.50R15 tires, a '94 Chevy 454ci big block, 350 turbo transmission, 203 transfer case. Furthemore, it apparently started out as a '34 Chevy four-door car body. The shop responsible for building the car, RS Customs, has said that the car is set up for both off road use and on road as well, making it versatile as a vehicle.

The Rat Rod Chevy Can Tackle Rough Terrain

The Arizona-based custom truck shop has given the '34 Chevy the suspension and underpinnings from a 1976 Chevy Blazer truck and as a result has improved off-road use dramatically. With 8 inches of clearance from factory, plus the larger and more beefed up tires and suspension, this can easily go over the majority of the rough terrain most off-road vehicles can. Fitted with a bed-mounted spare as well, even if the tires have an issue it can be solved with relative ease too.

The Truck Is Up On A Raffle System

The complete truck build was done in-house and the big V8 up front gives it more power than the original 1934 Chevy would have ever been capable of. This rat rod is up for a raffle through the shop that made it and was shared by Rat Rod Addiction on Facebook to widen the audience.

With 400 chances at winning, each entry comes to $50. With a price of entry that low, the full build should be able to attract enough potential buyers to not only recover the money spent to build it, but also to earn some money as well. For those who are interested, the shop even says that they would consider setting up shipping the truck for the winner as well.
