Fall, food and fun: Fairs and fests on tap in PBC, Treasure Coast

Fall brings festivals and craft shows to Palm Beach County and the Treasure Coast. [Contributed by the Boca Raton Garden Club]

Pumpkins and pine cones, candles and crafts — get ready for the fall festivals and bazaars in your neighborhood!

OCTOBER

Sip & Shop: 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, Absolute Music Studios, 725 N. A1A, Jupiter. Boutique items, cosmetics, jewelry and pampered experiences. Musical entertainment and prizes. Cocktails and light nibbles. All participating vendors are exclusively women-owned businesses. $10 suggested donations to benefit Peace, Love & Music.

Fall Festival: 3 to 10 p.m. Saturday, Village Park, 11700 Pierson Road, Wellington. Haunted Hallways, hayrides, trick-or-treating, petting zoo, face painting, bounce houses, pony rides, music, vendors, food trucks. Costume contests at 4 and 7 p.m.

Fire Fest: 1 to 9 p.m. Saturday, Jonathan Dickinson State Park, 16450 SE Federal Highway, Hobe Sound. Haunted Spooky Trail, fall/Halloween décor, hayrides, animal encounters, bounce houses, prescribed fire demonstrations, Smokey Bear’s Birthday Celebration, music, food and drinks available. $6 park entry fee.

Fall Fun Fest: 5 to 10 p.m. Oct. 25; noon to 10 p.m. Oct. 26; 1 to 6 p.m. Oct. 27, Port St. Lucie Civic Center, 9221 SE Civic Center Place. Midway carnival, food booths, arts and crafts. Trick-or-treating and costume contest, 6 to 8 p.m. Oct. 27.

Orchid Festival: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Oct. 25-26; 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Oct. 27, Fieldhouse at Old School Square, 51 N. Swinton Ave., Delray Beach. Delray Beach Orchid Society presents its 30th annual juried orchid show and sale, featuring orchids, orchid supplies, orchid-scented candles, Haitian art, jewelry, raffles.

Hobgoblins on Main Street: 1 to 4 p.m. Oct. 26, Downtown Stuart, Riverwalk Stage. Annual family festival and costume parade.

Fall Fest: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Oct. 26, Citrus Grove Community Park, 2507 SW Citrus Blvd., Palm City. The Palm City Chamber of Commerce presents its 11th annual Fall Fest with food, entertainment, arts and crafts, pumpkin patch, children’s area, pie-eating contest, motorcycle show and community/business booths.

BOOtanical Halloween: 4:30 to 7 p.m., Port St. Lucie Botanical Gardens, 2410 SE Westmoreland Blvd. Join ghosts, ghouls and goblins in their search for goodies, candies and more. Take a journey on the Haunted Hayride. Open to children up to age 13 and their families. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

NOVEMBER

Holiday House: 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Nov. 1-3, Boca Raton Garden Club Clubhouse & Gardens, 4281 NW Third Ave., Boca Raton. Crafts, holiday decorations, plants, bake sale. No plant sale on Nov. 3.

Holiday Fair and Bazaar: 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Nov. 2, Lakeside United Methodist Church, 1901 12th Ave. S., Lake Worth Beach. Jewelry, wood-turned crafts, shell shadowboxes, crochet items, CBD oils, cosmetics, scented candles, personal safety items, greeting cards, baked goods. Hot dogs, hamburgers, sodas and brownie sundaes available. Chicken salad luncheon served from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., $10.

Bonfire and hayride: 3 to 7 p.m. Nov. 9, McCarty Ranch Preserve, 12525 Range Line Road, Port St. Lucie. Live music, petting zoo, pony rides, horseback riding, fishing tournament and hayrides. Food available.

Holiday Bazaar: 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Nov. 16, Trinity United Methodist Church, 9625 N. Military Trail, Palm Beach Gardens. Arts and crafts, homemade baked goods. Hot breakfast and lunch prepared and sold by Boy Scouts.

Holiday Festival: 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Nov. 15-16, St. John Chrysostom Greek Church, 10605 SE Federal Highway, Hobe Sound. Greek food, pastries, Yia Yia’s Attic. St. John Dancers on Nov. 16 only.

Holiday Arts & Crafts Expo: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Nov. 16; 10 a.m to 4 p.m. Nov. 17, Port St. Lucie Civic Center, 9221 SE Civic Center Place, Port St. Lucie. Craft vendors, music, food, kids zone.

Holiday Bazaar: Nov. 19, The Benjamin School, Lower/Middle School Gymnasium, 11000 Ellison Wilson Road, North Palm Beach. Holiday gifts, crafts, jewelry, toys, home decor, handmade items, apparel, accessories. Open to the public. Family Hour, 5 to 6 p.m.; Sip & Shop, 6 to 9 p.m., adults only, wine, appetizers, music and raffles.

An Olde Fashioned Holiday: 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Nov. 21-22; 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Nov. 23, Fieldhouse at Old School Square, Northeast First Street and Northeast First Avenue, Delray Beach. The Southern Handcraft Society, Pineapple Grove Chapter, is hosting its 27th annual juried art and craft show, featuring holiday items, limited-edition ornaments, jewelry, cards, journals, shell art, glass art, hand-painted and turned wood pieces, ornaments, purses, quilts, hand-knit hats, sweaters and blankets, local honey items.

Arts & Craft Show: 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Nov. 23; 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Nov. 24, Cathedral of St. Ignatius Loyola, 9999 N. Military Trail, Palm Beach Gardens. Handmade crafts, holiday gift ideas, gifts for other occasions, bake sale, raffle, kids activity corner, snack bar.

Craft Fair: 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Nov. 23; 9 to 11 a.m. Nov. 24, St. Luke’s United Methodist Church, 165 Ohio Road, suburban Lake Worth Beach. Handmade crafts, fall and Christmas decorations, quilts, gifts, bake sale, food.

Gifts Worth Giving: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Nov. 23, noon to 4 p.m. Nov. 24, The Craft Gallery, 5911 S. Dixie Highway, West Palm Beach. Ceramics, glass, encaustic wax, metal, jewelry, fiber and wall art created by 20 local artists. Opening reception, 4 to 8 p.m. Nov. 22 with light refreshments.

Treasures & Trinkets: 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Nov. 23, St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, 188 S. Swinton Ave., Delray Beach. Gently used items, jewelry, furniture and decor, artwork and collectibles, holiday items, children’s activities, hot dogs and ice cream. Preview Party and Sale, 5:30 to 9 p.m. Nov. 22. Silent auction, raffle, hors d’oeuvres, beverages. $20 in advance, $25 at door.

DECEMBER

Holiday Bazaar: 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Dec. 6; 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Dec. 7, Burns Road Community Center, 4404 Burns Road, Palm Beach Gardens. The 36th annual bazaar features a variety of gifts and crafts, including home décor, sewn/embroidered items, health and beauty products, jewelry and food items.

Seasiders Holiday Market: 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Dec. 7, Palm Beach Shores Community Center, 90 Edwards Lane, Palm Beach Shores. Handmade cards and crafts, gift boutique, decorations, raffle, bake sale and coffee.

Bake Sale and Christmas Boutique: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Dec. 10, Friends of the North Palm Beach Library, 303 Anchorage Drive, North Palm Beach. Baked goods, Christmas items, raffle.

Cookies and Crafts: 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Dec. 15, Holy Spirit Episcopal Church, 1003 Allendale Road, West Palm Beach. Holiday gifts, homemade baked goods, craft items, jewelry, Christmas decorations.
