COVID-19 Vaccine Site Opens At Former Lord & Taylor In Paramus
PARAMUS, NJ — A new COVID-19 vaccine "mega site" opened this week in Paramus, Hackensack Meriden Health announced.
The vaccine site will be at the former Lord & Taylor store site at 34 E. Ridgewood Ave., off of Route 17 North in Paramus. Hackensack Meriden Health will run the site, according to a news release.
The hours are as follows: Tuesdays, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Wednesdays 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., according to Hackensack Meriden Health.
Appointments can be scheduled here, and walk-ins are also welcome. Booster vaccines and initial doses are available. Children ages 5 and older can be vaccinated, as well as adults.
Robert C. Garrett, FACHE said the health system is "proud" to work with state partners in the effort to get New Jerseyans vaccinated.
“As we approach the two-year anniversary of the COVID-19 pandemic, we know that vaccination is a powerful weapon to save lives globally," Garrett said in a news release.
This location is one of four opened in coordination with the New Jersey State Police and the state department of health.
