Car stolen in south Salina

A car was stolen from a garage in south Salina last week.

Salina Police said sometime between 6 p.m. Thursday and 6 a.m. Friday, someone entered a garage in the 700 block of Joanie Lane and took a 2016 Nissan Maxima.

Police said the owners of the Nissan, which is dark purple with Kansas tag 384 CTR, believe they may have left the garage door up.

A woman’s purse and wedding ring were also in the car for a total loss of around $34,000.
