PIERRE, S.D. — State Rep. Bob Glanzer, R-Huron, is in critical condition after being diagnosed with COVID-19. The state lawmaker and his wife, Penny, both tested positive for the virus, according to a Facebook post on the South Dakota Republican' Party's page.
Glanzer represents District 22, which includes Beadle and Kingsbury Counties.
"Asking all to send prayers for State Representative Bob Glanzer and his wife Penny from Huron, as they have fallen ill with the Coronavirus," the post states. "Both have been struggling, especially Bob as he is in critical condition. Please keep him, Penny and their whole family in your thoughts and prayers through this difficult time. Please lord, grant them renewal of body and spirit."
