Bahrain-based Arab Shipbuilding and Repair Yard (Asry) has said that contribution from ship repair operations is showing an increase of 9.5 per cent on the same period last year. In a statement issued after a board meeting, Asry chairman Shaikh Daij bin Salman Al Khalifa said this was partially compensating for a downturn in the second revenue stream, the rig repair sector, reported the Gulf Daily News (GDN), our sister publication.
