Here’s Your Guide to All 40 of Hallmark’s 2019 Holiday Movies
It’s that time of year again — the chestnuts are roasting, the marshmallows are toasting, and the Hallmark holiday movies are airing multiple times a week from now until the end of the year.
Of the 40 new original movies Hallmark is rolling out this holiday season, 24 are part of its 10th annual “Countdown to Christmas” event. The other 16 will air on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries.
Some of the original movies have aired since the end of October, which can be streamed on Hallmark Movies Now. The rest of this year’s holiday programming, like “Christmas at Dollywood,” starring Dolly Parton and “Merry & Bright,” starring Jodie Sweetin, will continue to roll out on both channels until Dec. 28.

Logline: World-traveler Harper returns to Memphis for the holidays and nannies for wealthy widower Owen while awaiting news about a job overseas. As they grow close, Harper encourages Owen to break out of his routine and spend more time with his children, while Owen encourages Harper to have confidence. Harper and Owen prepare for a joint event at Graceland featuring a fundraiser for Owen’s company and an Elvis at Christmas exhibit Harper is producing. They develop feelings for each other, Harper realizes how much she enjoys living near family and must decide if her home for the holidays will be her forever home.

Logline: Former pop music duo – and former couple – Averie and Jesse are reunited at Averie’s inn over the holiday season. As the two spend time together preparing for the Christmas festival Averie is hosting at her inn, they rediscover long-buried feelings and notice the creative spark each one lights in the other. While Averie balances planning for the festival and trying to impress a hotel critic, Jesse catches a glimpse of what life with Averie would look like, possibly revealing a dream he never knew he had. There, she meets Nick, a handsome decorator who’s been commissioned to deck out the iconic landmark. When a big company decides to hold a contest to find the small American town that best represents Christmas – and offers some large rewards to the winner – the mayors of East and West Riverton, the extremely competitive Gavin (Eric Mabius) and the equally competitive Stella decide to go all out to get their respective towns to the top of the holiday heap. It becomes a free-for-all of Christmas cheer as Gavin and Stella continually try to outdo each other with decorations, events, performers, parades, and more. The ever-escalating contest leads these two not only to realize what Christmas is really all about but to find love with one another along the way.
