How to Watch Some Sundance 2014 Films Without Making the Trek to Park City
The Sundance Institute announced today that it plans to screen some of its upcoming 2014 selections at nine theaters across the country on January 30.

As part of the Sundance Film Festival USA initiative, the move is set to expand the festival’s horizons while simultaneously emboldening arthouse theaters by delivering freshly premiered films from the festival. Director of the Sundance Film Festival John Copper remarked, “Year-round audiences and arthouse theaters are vital parts of the independent film community, and our Sundance Film Festival USA initiative allows us to extend the energy and excitement of the Festival to them.”
In addition to a screening, audiences will be treated to a pre-screening introduction and post-screening Q&A accompanied by the filmmaker.
