Portion of Greenway bike path to close for asphalt overlay project

The main project area will begin at the Seventh Avenue North entrance to the Greenway, extending north to the north-end pedestrian bridge. A second, minor repair site is adjacent to the Riverboat Road parking lot.

A portion of the bike path in the Grand Forks Greenway will be closed starting Wednesday, Sept. 2, so crews can begin placing an asphalt overlay.

The main project area will begin at the Seventh Avenue North entrance to the Greenway, extending north to the north-end pedestrian bridge. A second, minor repair site is adjacent to the Riverboat Road parking lot.

Construction vehicles will gain entrance to the Greenway at Red Dot Place, North First Street, Seventh Avenue North and Riverboat Road. Cautionary signs will be located at these entrances.

The project is expected to be complete by Tuesday, Sept. 15.
