LOS ANGELES, CA — Firefighters appear to have contained a brush fire that broke out in the Angeles National Forest territory along North Little Tujunga Canyon Road Friday afternoon. The fire had burned less than an acre.

The blaze broke out at about 12:14 p.m. along the 12600 block of North Little Tujunga Canyon Road in the Lake View Terrace area., according to the Los Angeles Fire Department. By 12:45, a crew of three engines and a water tender had stopped the forward progress of the fire, which had move been moving slowing uphill through the brush, according to Los Angeles Fire Department spokesman Nicholas Prange.
