Weekend preview: What's going on in Kitsap and beyond

Weather: Light snow showers are possible on Friday and temperatures will remain in the 30s. Saturday is forecast to be partly sunny, with showers returning on Sunday. Highs are expected to be in the low 40s.

Chilly Hilly: On Sunday, the Cascade Bicycle Club is kicking off riding season with the annual Chilly Hilly — a 33-mile route around Bainbridge Island. The path includes a free stop at Battle Point Park and a finish line festival with a chili meal benefiting Bainbridge Island nonprofits.

Weaving Histories at BIMA: Living Arts Cultural Heritage Center, New Life Community Development Agency, Kitsap County African-American Historical Society, Emmanuel Apostolic Church, and Bainbridge Island School District are collaborating for a Black History Month art display at the Bainbridge Island Museum of Art. On Friday from 6 to 9 p.m. there will be music, dance and spoken performances for “A Night of Culture.” Then on Sunday, from 3 to 6 p.m., there will be art performances, visual displays as well as music, dance and more.

CPR training: Learn the simple life-saving skills of CPR in a hands-on opportunity, On Sunday from 1 to 3 p.m. at Blossom Baby in Silverdale. The life-saving techniques work for infants, children and adults. Cost is $35. Get tickets at https://shop.blossombabynw.com/products/cpr-class.

In Tacoma: Tthe Tacoma Dome is hosting the 30th annual "So Northwest Woman’s Show" on Saturday and Sunday. The show will continue to celebrate and connect with women while showcasing the best of living in the Northwest through fashion, food, fun and entertainment. In Seattle:The Seattle Asian American Film Festival is every day this weekend and showcases feature-length and short-format films by and about Asian Americans across North America, with an emphasis on filmmakers from the Pacific Northwest. Sunday is the Pacific Northwest Regional Yo-Yo Championship. The event is being held at the Seattle Center from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
