Black vegan chefs featured in Dallas Public Library online series this month

For Black History Month, cooking demonstrations and online discussions will spotlight Dallas-area vegan chefs.

In celebration of Black History Month, the Dallas Public Library is hosting a series featuring local Black vegan chefs.

The library will kick off the series tonight with an online panel, “Grow With Us: The Black and Indigenous History of Agriculture,” in which local Black farmers and food justice advocates will discuss the agricultural legacy of Black and Indigenous people and more.

Starting Feb. 13, a Black vegan chef in North Texas will be featured in a live-streamed conversation or present a cooking demonstration every Saturday through the end of the month.
