Cars Form Long Line at Tex-Mex Restaurant on Cinco de Mayo in College Station, Texas

People reportedly waited for up to an hour and a half to get Tex Mex food at a Chuya’s outlet in College Station, Texas, on May 5 after coronavirus lockdown restrictions were eased in the state.

Zana Lynne Jacobs, who filmed this video, told Storyful that despite the hour-plus lines, the food was worth the wait. Long lines of cars were reported at many Mexican restaurants across the United States for Cinco de Mayo, a Mexican holiday celebrating a victory over the French army in the 19th century.
