Arc System Works have published a brand new trailer outlining the game modes for their upcoming fighting game, Guilty Gear Strive, set to launch on PC, PS4 and PS5 on April 9th. Check out the trailer for yourself at the top of the page.

What Game Modes Will Be Available In Guilty Gear Strive?

The trailer reveals all the offline and online content you’ll be able to enjoy in Guilty Gear Strive. If you’re looking to fly solo, there’s the fully voiced story mode, an arcade mode and a survival mode, along with a training mode, full tutorial and mission mode so you can get to grips with the 20 character roster. There’s even a GG Mode and Gallery Mode, allowing you to learn about the world of Guilty Gear, or just enjoy some concept art.

As for the online mode, players will be able to join lobbies with dozens of players, challenging them to matches with customisable avatars. On top of that, players can join smaller rooms of up to 9 players, customising their settings to create some fun, intense matches. The online will also support cross-play between PS4 and PS5 players, which is a nice bonus.

Will There Be Any Special Editions of Guilty Gear Strive?

Yes, there will be a standard edition, a deluxe edition and an ultimate edition. The main benefit of the deluxe and ultimate edition is there’s a three day early access that will let players get started on April 6th. The Deluxe and Ultimate Edition will also include the first season pass, which features 5 additional characters, 2 extra stages, an additional colour pack and some new story content. The Ultimate Edition also features a digital artbook and soundtrack, along with another set of extra colours. Are you excited? Let us know in the comments.
