The song was first released solely by BTS on the group’s album Map of the Soul: Persona, which debuted in April as the act’s third, and most recent, No. 1 on the Billboard 200. The new Lauv version arrived Nov. 1.

The Pop Songs chart measures total weekly plays among its reporting panel of 168 mainstream top 40 stations.

BTS first hit Pop Songs with “Mic Drop,” featuring Desiigner (and remixed by Steve Aoki), which rose to No. 25 in January 2018. “Fake Love” followed, peaking at No. 34 in July 2018, while Aoki’s “Waste It on Me,” featuring BTS, reached No. 38 last December. This May, the group achieved its highest rank on the survey when “Boy With Luv,” featuring Halsey, climbed to No. 22. “Boy” was released as the first single from Map of the Soul: Persona.
