The Maple Leafs will open training camp at the MasterCard Centre for Hockey Excellence in Etobicoke on Thursday, September 13. Player media availability will begin at 9 a.m., while the club will hold an 10 a.m. press conference with General Manager Kyle Dubas and Head Coach Mike Babcock in the D.K. (Doc) Seaman Hockey Resource Centre before travelling to Niagara Falls in the afternoon.
The team's first on-ice activities of training camp commence on Friday, September 14 at Gale Centre in Niagara Falls. On-ice sessions will run from approximately 9:30 a.m. until 2 p.m. on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
The daily events inside the Gale Centre on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, including the Alumni Game on Saturday night, will be ticketed and fans wishing to gain entry will require a paper ticket. Free tickets will be made available on each day of Training Camp, at a first-come, first-served basis, in the morning starting at 8:30 a.m. from the Gale Centre Box Office. Throughout the weekend and at the team's post-practice barbeque on Sunday, monetary donations are encouraged on entry for all events, with proceeds benefitting the Niagara Children's Centre and the Terry Fox Foundation.
The Maple Leafs will open their preseason schedule in Lucan, Ontario as part of Kraft Hockeyville 2018 when they take on the Ottawa Senators on Monday, September 18 at Lucan Community Memorial Arena. Scotiabank Arena will host its first preseason game of 2018 when the Maple Leafs play the Buffalo Sabres on Friday, September 21.
