David S. Burton, age 55, of Bella Vista, Arkansas, passed away September 5, 2020. He was born April 29, 1965 in Cameron, Missouri. He served in the US Navy in San Diego, California. Dave worked as an over-the-road and local truck driver. He loved riding his Harley and attended many rallies, including Sturgis, Bikes Blues and BBQ and especially charity rides. He moved to Arkansas to help his mom take care of his stepdad after his unfortunate accident resulting in a brain injury. Dave was full of life with a big sense of humor who would help anyone in need. He lived his life to the fullest as he wanted and was always able to make light of any situation. He was a big kid at heart, so he loved playing with his grandsons and any others that wanted to play. Preceded in death by his father David Burton Jr.; grandparents, David Burton Sr. and Ann Burton, John Feighert and Carolyn Wilson. Survived by his son, Nick Burton of Colorado Springs; daughter, Shayna Burton of Kansas City, Missouri; grandsons, Liam and Maxwell Minshall of Kansas City; mother, Coleen Cumberland and her husband, Verl, of Bella Vista; sister, Shantel Burton of Gladstone, Missouri; stepbrother, Chris Cumberland of Houston, Texas; stepsister, Kelli Pool and Jared of Independence, Missouri; nieces and nephews, Regan and Nathan Pool, Michael and Michelle Cumberland, Meghan and Cole Sherry of Okinawa, Japan, Kasey Condeni of Gladstone; great-nephews, Brayden and Calvin; and great-niece Maia; numerous aunts and uncles; and his beloved and faithful companion, his dog, Maxx. A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m., September 12th at Pleasant Valley Baptist Church, 1600 Route 291, Liberty, Missouri. Arrangements are by Bella Vista Funeral Home and Crematory.
