Police Forcibly Snatch Chandrababu's Mobile Phone Former Chief Minister Chandrababu Naiduplanned a protest in Chittoor after the reports of the ruling party threatening a few candidates of TDP to withdraw from Municipal Elections. But the high drama has followed after Naidu landed at Renigunta Airport.

Citing COVID-19 second wave, police refused permission for his tour. They did not even allow him to meet the collector and district SP regarding the permission. Angry Naidu sat on the floor of the airport as a protest. The police served him a notice of a possible arrest if he does not co-operate with them.

They even snatched Chandrababu’s phone. They also snatched the phones of his PA and Naidu’s personal medical officer to prevent the videos of Naidu’s protest from going out. They did not allow the former Chief Minister to talk to the media.

On the other side, all the TDP leaders of the district were put under house arrest. Interestingly, Sakshi today published a news item saying Chandrababu canceled his Chittoor district tour owing to poor response and also cadre asking questions about Junior NTR.
