FOREST HILLS, QUEENS — A top fencing school has opened a location in the heart of Forest Hills.

Sheridan Fencing Academy, which is based on the Upper East Side, opened a 2,000-square-foot school inside the Forest Hills Jewish Center on Queens Boulevard, the Queens Courier reported.

The Forest Hills academy's head coach, Mihail Etropolski, fenced for the United States at several World Cups and at the 2010 Pan American Championships and is the heir to an impressive fencing legacy that includes his father and his uncle, according to the Courier.

Sheridan Fencing Academy Founder and Head Coach Jason Sheridan opened the school's first location in 2007, after he trained in Poland with celebrated coach Zbigniew Czajkowski.

The Forest Hills school is at 106-06 Queens Blvd. and offers classes for kids and adults, according to its website.
