First edition of Bahrain Auto Show from January 16-20

Manama : The first edition of Bahrain Auto Show will be held from January 16 to 20, 2018 at Bahrain International Exhibition and Convention Center.

Being organised by Work Smart, under the patronage of Shaikh Khaled bin Humood Al-Khalifa, Chief Executive Officer of the Bahrain Tourism and Exhibition Authority, the event is going to be the most influential automotive show in the region with major companies showcasing the latest passenger and commercial vehicles from around the world. Banks and financial institutions, insurance companies, parts accessories companies will also take part in the Auto Show.

Classic and heritage cars from various brands and models will be displayed for public to view and to know more about them at the expo.

Ahmed Al Hujairi, CEO of Work Smart, said, “We want to offer everything related to cars and engines in one place in an integrated way. We want to create a festive atmosphere for the fans of cars and engines”.

He said that more than 150 exhibitors will be participating in the event, and it is expected that the exhibition will attract more than 10,000 visitors.

“Bahrain is widely recognised as the home of the automotive industry in the Middle East. The Kingdom has been instrumental in organising major auto-related events through its success in organising Formula One races. We are now working to add a new dimension to this success by focusing on attracting major manufacturers and dealers of luxury and commercial cars, along with car service providers and place them in one place in front of the public in Bahrain, citizens and residents, in an event that is the first of its kind in the Kingdom,” Al Hujairi add.
