Latest PA Coronavirus Data, Updates: 1,120 Cases, 24 Deaths

HARRISBURG, PA — The state's coronavirus count went up by 1,120 Tuesday, bringing the total since the onset of the pandemic to 109,384. There were 24 more deaths reported Tuesday, bringing the total death toll to 7,146.

The largest case increase was reported out of Philadelphia County, where there were 175 new cases confirmed overnight. In Allegheny County, 119 new cases were reported and in Delaware County, there was an increase of 118 cases. RELATED: Delaware County Seeing Coronavirus Case Surge, Data Shows

Health Secretary Rachel Levine, in a news release Tuesday, said the state must "renew our commitment to protecting against COVID-19 by wearing a mask, practicing social distancing and following the requirements set forth in the orders for bars and restaurants, gatherings and telework."

She said Pennsylvania residents must work together to "stop another surge.”
