Bahrain will join the world in a global media campaign conducted by the UN with more than 45 countries to mark its 70th anniversary. The UN’s official blue colour will light more than 150 symbolic landmarks including buildings, museums and bridges. It will illuminate the historic Bu Maher Fort, south of Muharraq, which dates back to the Portuguese era in Bahrain, said a report in the Gulf Daily News (GDN), our sister publication.
