The Sims has added bunk beds to the Mobile game.
Famously one of the more heavily-requested features among The Sims 4's fanbase, bunk beds have yet to make an appearance in the main entry. But their recent inclusion in The Sims Mobile is perhaps a hint that The Sims 4 could be getting them at some point in the future.
The Sims Mobile players on iOS and Android can claim a wooden bunk bed as part of the new Sweet Treat Showdown 'Mid-Century Modern' event.
By progressing through the stages, Simmers will be able to receive other 'Grand Prize' items including a standing retro radio and a Dutch crown braid updo hairstyle.
A variety of other pieces of furniture are available through Sweet Treat and Royal Treat Boxes – which must be collected before unlocking Grand Prize items.
This latest 'Eco Workshop' update includes new features such as an Eco Workshop venue, allowing players to craft new items and upgrade the place with 'Recycle Tokens', and a new Tiny Premium House lot.
The Sims 4 may not have bunk beds yet, but the developers have considered adding the item in the past.

Bunk beds and ladders were both in contention during development on the Tiny Living Stuff Pack before they settled on murphy beds. Ladders were soon added as a free base game update last month.
Elsewhere, The Sims announced a new reality competition TV series. Launching later this month, The Sims Spark'd will see 12 contestants competing in a variety of creative challenges for a $100,000 prize.
The Sims 4 is available on PC, Mac, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4.
