Dallas, Fort Worth Election Guide 2019: What's On The Ballot

Voters in Dallas and Forth Worth can find what will be on their ballots in the Tuesday, Nov. 5 general election.

Voters in Dallas and Fort Worth will head to the ballot box on Tuesday, Nov. 5 to cast their votes in the statewide constitutional amendments election and two other races.

Polls open on election day at 7 a.m. and close at 7 p.m. Dallas County residents can find what will be on their specific ballot via the Dallas County Elections Department website. Residents of Tarrant County can find their local ballot via the Tarrant County website.

Dallas County

State House District 100 (See a map of the district)

After being elected mayor of Dallas, Eric Johnson resigned his seat in the State House where he represented the Dallas County district that encompasses parts of Dallas and Mesquite. A special election is being held to fill the remainder of Johnson's term in the State House.

Below are the candidates running to serve out the rest of Johnson's term:

Fort Worth ISD

Tarrant County

For residents of Fort Worth who reside in Fort Worth ISD District 4, a special election is being held to fill the seat vacated by Dr. T.A. Sims in July. (See a map of Fort Worth ISD District 4)
