BAHRAIN International Circuit (BIC) and Bahrain Economic Development Board (EDB) have renewed their long-term partnership agreement.
A new three-year deal was signed yesterday by BIC Chief Executive Shaikh Salman bin Isa Al Khalifa and EDB Chief Executive Khalid Al Rumaihi in presence of other officials from both companies.
“It is with great pleasure that we announce today the renewal of our already very fruitful partnership with EDB,” said Shaikh Salman.
“Having EDB as one of our valued partners is very important to us. Over the years, EDB has played a key role in our success, especially in reaching out to the international community and presenting the Kingdom of Bahrain to the rest of the world.”
Al Rumaihi commented: “The events held at the BIC, including the 2016 F1 Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix, are some of the major contributors to the Kingdom’s tourism sector and its related subsectors. The race is one of the Kingdom’s leading sporting events, attracting over 500 million spectators and around 100 thousand visitors from around the world every year.”
EDB is only one of several leading Bahraini entities who are partners with BIC.
