The Department of Imaging Sciences is composed of two hospitals and two outpatient imaging centers providing digital and computed radiography, digital fluoroscopy, ultrasound, nuclear medicine, CT, MR, and angiography services.

  • We currently operate 15 CT scanners (64- and 128-slice), 16 MRI scanners (nine 1.5 and seven 3 Tesla magnets), 1 PET-CT scanner and 1 PET-MR Scanner.
  • Reading rooms are equipped with multi flat-panel color PACS workstations which allow for real-time volume and multiplanar reconstructions. Voice recognition software is utilized for report dictation.
  • A state-of-the-art conference room designed for residency education, LCD projectors, and an audience response system. Virtual platform attendance facilitates learning at all locations.
  • Departmental library.
  • Resident lounge and study area with computers.
