Janette Manrara, 37, has issued an apology to her 432,000 Instagram followers this evening after she was unable to host her popular Talks With Janette Instagram Live video at the last minute. The Strictly Come Dancing professional, who lives with her husband and BBC co-star Aljaz Skorjanec, 30, was forced to pull out of her social media commitments due to a “sudden change of events in her day”.

Janette shared the sad news on her Instagram stories alongside a clip of herself looking apologetic while blowing a kiss to fans.

The star also said sorry via a GIF of singer Justin Bieber holding up a sign, which read: "I'm sorry."

She captioned the post: “So… no #TalksWithJanette tonight team.

“Sudden change of events in my day so will not be able to.”

However, Janette reassured her followers that she would update them on what was going on in her life soon.

“Love you all and HAPPY WEDNESDAY!”(sic)

Janette has not yet offered an explanation about the “change of events” she faced today.

It comes after the dancer appeared on Morning Live to discuss wellness and keeping fit during the current lockdown.

However, the conversation soon turned to her baby plans with husband Aljaz.

Discussing her dance classes with Aljaz throughout lockdown, Janette began: “We’re doing some online classes and on Friday we dress up, we put some disco lights on and we have a cheeky drink.

“It gets us excited to have a cheeky drink and look into the weekend, it’s the motivation for us.”

“That’s the party I definitely want to be at,” host Gethin Jones replied before moving on to ask about the couple’s plans to “try for a baby".

Janette responded: “A baby, yeah! Do you know what it is?

“It’s very scary being a dancer, my body is my tool, it’s what I use.

“Aljaz and I, we dance and work and do everything together so if you think about it, when I fall pregnant, that’s 50 per cent of the team gone!”

She went on to explain this factor made it a “scary decision” before adding: “But what Covid taught me is there’s never going to be a perfect time.

“Every time is the right time, so we’re very much looking forward to being parents and trust me, Morning Live would be the first to find out!”

“How good would that child be at dancing?!” Gethin remarked, with Janette laughing: “He, or she, or whatever yeah!”

Earlier this month, Janette once again opened up about being “ready” to be a parent and expressed her excitement to start a family.

She said: “We're definitely ready to be parents so we will see when that moment comes – you can't plan it.

“We will be beside ourselves and Aljaz will be the best dad. He is such a wonderful man and I'm so lucky to have him,” she told HELLO! Magazine
