LONG VALLEY, NJ - Two men are facing drug possession charges after a call for car racing put them on the collision course with police last month, according to authorities.

The Washington Township Police Department received motor vehicle complaints of two vehicles racing on Wellington Drive and while patrolling the area officers observed two occupied vehicles parked at the end of Bolton Drive, authorities said.

Immediately upon making contact with the drivers of the vehicles, officers said they could smell marijuana, police said. Investigation revealed the driver of the first vehicle, Lance Krueger, 20, of Hackettstown, to be in possession of drug paraphernalia, police said.
