Rapides Parish Superintendent Jeff Powell tells News Channel 5 that the Rapides Parish School Board has "not been able to find evidence" of a video from Tioga High School's football team in the wake of a racist Snapchat video that went viral from some members of Buckeye High School's team.

Here is the statement Powell released regarding social media reports that a video exists: "We have heard the same reports, but have not been able to find any evidence that an additional video exists at this time."

On Thursday, the school board made the decision to cancel a Friday football game between the two schools after consulting with the Rapides Parish Sheriff's Office about safety concerns.
