Police seek help locating missing Grass Valley man
LETICIA: GOOD MORNING. HERE IS A LOOK AT HER TOP STORIES. OFFICIALS AT TRAVIS AIR FORCE BASE SAY FIVE PEOPLE UNDER QUARANTINE HAVE STARTED TO SHOW SYMPTOMS OF THE CORONAVIRUS. THEY HAVE NOT BEEN OFFICIALLY DIAGNOSED WITH THE VIRUS. THEY ARRIVED ON EVACUATION FLIGHTS FROM WUHAN, CHINA YESTERDAY AND ON WEDNESDAY. THE PATIENTS ARE NOW BEING MONITORED AT A NEARBY HOSPITAL. THE EL DORADO COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE IS HOSTING A BLOOD DRIVE IN HONOR OF A FALLEN DEPUTY. DEPUTY BRIAN ISHMAEL WAS KILLED IN THE LINE OF DUTY IN OCTOBER AFTER RESPONDING TO A CALL FOR SERVICE. FROM 10:00 A.M. UNTIL 3:00 AT P.M. THE SHERIFF’S OFFICE ON INDUSTRIAL WAY IN PLACERVILLE. WALK-INS ARE WELCOME, BUT YOU WILL RECEIVE PRIORITY IF YOU HAVE AN APPOINTMENT. AN ASSEMBLY MEMBER AND HER CHIEF OF STAFF HAVE BEEN REPRIMANDED FOR INAPPROPRIATE CONDUCT. LOS ANGELES ASSEMBLY MEMBER WENDY CARILLO IS ACCUSED OF INAPPROPRIATE TOUCHING. THE ASSEMBLY’S INVESTIGATION FOUND THAT ON TWO OCCASIONS SHE INSISTED ON A QUOTE "TWO-ARM HUG AND THEN KISSED A PERSON ON THE CHEEK." Police seek help locating missing Grass Valley man
The Grass Valley Police Department is asking for the public’s help locating a missing 46-year-old man. Webster Pedrick was last seen Jan. 23 leaving his home on East Empire Street. Police said Pedrick left on his black electric bicycle and was headed west toward the Empire Market. He has not had any contact with friends or family since, police said. Pedrick has missed doctor’ appointments and left behind several important belongings, police said. Anyone with information on Pedrick’s whereabouts is encouraged to call dispatch at 530-265-7880 and ask to speak to a Grass Valley officer or detective.
