COVID-19 vaccine tracker for New London and Windham counties

Some 68% of people living in New London County and 55% of people living in Windham County are fully vaccinated as of Sept. 21, according to data from the the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention considers someone fully vaccinated two weeks after they've been given a single-dose shot (Johnson & Johnson) or a second shot (either Pfizer or Moderna).

Connecticut reported 386,182 total cases of coronavirus, an increase of 1% from the week before.

New London County has one of the five highest percentages of their population fully vaccinated in Connecticut as of Sept. 21.

The others in the top five are Middlesex County (73%), Fairfield County (70%), New Haven County (66%) and Litchfield County (66%).

How many people in New London County have received a COVID-19 vaccine?

  • 73% of people in New London County have received at least one dose of the vaccine, for a total of 197,488 people
  • 68% of people in New London County are fully vaccinated, for a total of 181,739 people

How many people in Windham County have received a COVID-19 vaccine?

  •     61% of people in Windham County have received at least one dose of the vaccine, for a total of 70,623 people
  •     55% of people in Windham County are fully vaccinated, for a total of 64,494 people
